Archbishop Panfilo is the Archbishop Emeritus of Rabaul, a township in East New Britain on the island of New Britain in Papua New Guinea.
He spent 32 years in the Philippines serving various roles such as Rector and Novice Master for Don Bosco Technical College, Provincial Superior for communities in the Philippines, East Timor and Jakarta, and as Rector of the Theological Centre in Parañaque.
